Hi, I’m Carly.
Caroline “Carly” · Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I’m so glad you’re here. One of the things I love most about being a therapist is getting to know people in different seasons of life. I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, teenagers, and adults, and I’ve learned that everyone brings their own story, strengths, and ways of making sense of the world.
My goal is to understand you as a whole person—not just the symptoms or struggles that brought you to counseling. That means making room for your relationships, experiences, values, and the things that matter most to you.
I don’t believe there’s one perfect way to do therapy. Some people appreciate practical tools and strategies. Others need space to process what they’ve been carrying. Often, a little of both is helpful. We’ll work together to find a balance that feels right for you.
I tend to approach therapy with curiosity, warmth, and compassion. You can ask questions, disagree with me, or tell me when something isn’t working. Your voice matters, and I want our work together to feel collaborative.
I also believe it can be helpful to understand why we do the things we do. Ways of coping or protecting ourselves may have made sense at one point, even if they’re making life harder now. Together, we can get curious about those patterns, build skills, and explore healthier ways forward at your pace.
My Christian faith is an important part of my life and shapes the compassion, kindness, humility, and respect I strive to bring to this work. I welcome clients from all faiths and backgrounds. You don’t need to share my beliefs or have any religious background to work with me.
Above all, my hope is that you feel respected, supported, and free to be yourself. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin.
A consultation is a chance for us to connect and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
